WRITING LETTERS TO THE DEAD - A Workshop
Saturday, October 29, 2 - 4 pm PM
Suggested Donation to OCHO: $5.00 (or more, if you’re able)
Was there something you left unsaid or unfinished when a loved one died? Have you yearned for one more opportunity to say “I love you” or “I’m sorry?” This workshop session is a chance to write your own heart-healing letter to someone dear who died either recently or long, long ago. Simple writing prompts and techniques will ease participants over the challenging hump of getting started and continuing on through writing whatever it is you need and want to say.
Facilitator Annie Mattingley, MA, is the author of After-Death Chronicles, forthcoming from Hampton Roads in 2017. After innumerable contact with her deceased daughter, Annie spent four years interviewing others on their after-death communication experiences. She has taught journal-writing as a self-healing art at UNM Taos, at John F. Kennedy University, Orinda, CA, and privately.
