A multi-disciplinary artist, Martha's artforms are the melding of all the expressive arts. She directs and produces shows that incorporate moving image, poetry, dance, visuals, and live music, and has been a lively collaborator with artists from all these disciplines in her many years as a practicing artist and classical musician.

As an Art Director, she has created exhibition catalogs, magazines, and poetry books as well as corporate identity systems and illustrations.

Martha teaches at the University of New Mexico-Taos as an adjunct instructor in art. Previously she worked at a private boarding school in central New Hampshire. As a teacher, she facilitates the unfolding of her beautiful students' mysterious pathways to themselves.

As a musician, she mostly enjoys classical works, but lots of spirited newer works too, and has plans to tour and concertize as much as she can while making Questa her home base. International connections include Norway: pianist Halvor Martins. Not too long ago she accompanied cellist Laura Kristoff in eastern Tennessee for a concert of little-heard Brazilian works, and now that she's settled in northern New Mexico, she regularly performs at venues of Taos Community Chorus, with her partner Francis Donald on saxophone, and chamber music with Taos locals Rebecca Caron, Claire Detels, and Mark Dudrow. The circle ever expands!
